As an HR Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR support to ensure smooth operations. You will play a vital role in shaping our HR function and enhancing the employee experience at Mettler-Toledo Safeline, including process ownership and administrative tasks, especially during our Workday implementation. This is a fixed-term position for 18-24 months.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support investigation processes for ER cases.
  2. Produce documentation for disciplinary, capability, and grievance processes in line with legal advice.
  3. Manage employee absence cases according to Absence Policy and Occupational Health services.
  4. Administer HRIS records for payroll, benefits, absence management, and reporting.
  5. Handle maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave processes and queries.
  6. Manage Flexible Working Requests from start to finish.
  7. Liaise with external agencies and benefit providers.
  8. Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  9. Support recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with HR colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
  • Over 3 years' experience in absence management, recruitment, ER cases, and benefits.
  • Experience in unionized and manufacturing/industrial environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP HCM, Workday, MS Office 365, PeopleDoc.
  • Experience supporting HRIS system implementations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practices.
