Job summary

The Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced HR Adviser in Oxford on a fixed-term contract to March 2028. You will provide HR advice to managers and staff, independently handling disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases, while coaching managers and supporting policy and legislation.

You will take the lead on HR systems and workforce data, improving processes, reporting, and system functionality, and assisting system upgrades and implementations.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified or member.
• Strong Employee Relations experience.
• Experience managing ER cases independently.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Ideally confident using Power BI.
• Experience working with Trade Unions and operational workforces.
• Confident advising and coaching managers.

Responsibilities

You’ll provide HR advice to managers and employees, independently managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases, as well as coaching managers and supporting employment legislation and policy.

A key part of the role will be taking the lead on HR systems and workforce data, improving processes, reporting and system functionality, and supporting system upgrades and implementations.

We’re looking for:
