  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the HR function and wider business objectives.

About you:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience (at least 4-5 years) in an HR Advisory or Employee Relations Specialist role, ideally within a retail, FMCG, or similarly fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations best practice, and HR policies and procedures.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to produce accurate reports, analyse people data, and generate meaningful insights to support business decision‑making.

  • Experience using HR systems and databases, with Workday or similar HRIS experience desirable.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines.

  • High levels of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence when handling confidential and sensitive matters.

This is primarily an office‑based role with a non‑contractual option to work from home up to two days per week, subject to business needs. Given the nature of employee relations activity, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain flexibility and attend the office as required to effectively support managers, employees, investigations, hearings, and other ER related matters.
