Job description

Harris Computer are currently recruiting for a fluent Spanish and English speaking HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis, who can be based either in Spain or the UK.

As a HR Advisor at Harris Computer, you will perform a variety of Human Resources related tasks at a professional level predominately supporting Businesses within the UK, Spain and Australia. Plus other Country related tasks within the International Group as part of the International Team.

You will formulate partnerships within the HR function and across the Businesses to deliver support to management, employees and the HR team that reflect the business and functional objectives. Working in collaboration, you will follow best practice and deliver organized and effective information across the full employee life cycle, processes, including reporting and analyzing information.

The Position

In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Being the first point of contact to advise employees and management on various issues, which includes responding daily to enquiries received through our internal Employee Self Service System within a timely manner providing accurate and updated information

  • Managing the processes to support employee relations cases (to include but not limited to) promotions, demotions, coaching, terminations, conflict resolution, disciplinaries, grievances, integrations efficiencies, mergers and acquisitions, organizational changes

  • Delivering internal training sessions that promote employee and management development (to include but not limited to) performance reviews, talent reviews, HR operating practices and processes

  • Developing HR processes, deliver employee onboarding and manage the annual HR cycle of events

  • Supporting M&A due diligence and integrations

  • Undertaking a wide range of tasks including HR processes and maintenance/administration of HR files/documentation, ensuring employee records are accurate and updated

  • Supporting and participate in HR projects and initiatives

  • Gathering and analyzing data to provide HR metrics and reports

  • Representing HR by ensuring an efficient, best in class service is provided to deliver maximum value to the business

What are we looking for?

  • HR Professional Qualification or HR Professional Association (in Country equivalent)

  • Knowledge of employment law and practices both within the UK and Spain

  • Experience with managing a high volume workload

  • Proficient IT skills to be able to confidently navigate around Excel & HRIS

  • Excellent organization skills, adaptability to change and work independently

  • A self-starter with a retained focus to prioritize and deliver within an ambiguous environment

  • A minimum of three years’ experience within a similar role

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (both verbal and written)

Note:

You will be based in the UK or Spain. The business language is English.

If you are based in the UK – this is a hybrid role (working 2 days per week in the Manchester office) / If you are based in Spain – this is predominately a home based role.

You will be required to travel to other work locations (both in and out of your Country of residence).
