Job summary

Beagle Aircraft is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Christchurch site in a hands-on generalist role.

You will provide practical guidance across employee relations, performance management, onboarding and HR administration, ensuring accurate records and compliant people processes.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor or generalist HR professional.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Hands-on experience supporting employee relations cases.
• Experience supporting managers with performance and absence management.
• Experience with payroll administration and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business.
• Support employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Conduct and support HR investigations where required.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and take ownership of the onsite induction process.
• Support performance reviews, development plans and performance improvement processes.
• Maintain HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
• Manage absence processes, including sickness, leave and return-to-work activity.
• Maintain accurate employee records within OneHR and prepare HR reports and people data.
• Coordinate payroll information to support accurate and timely monthly processing.
• Support training, development and employee wellbeing initiatives.

At Beagle Aircraft, we operate within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment, supporting leading military and civil aerospace customers. We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Christchurch site and provide hands-on HR support across the business. This is a varied generalist role where you'll work closely with employees, managers and senior leaders across the full employee lifecycle. If you're an HR professional who enjoys being visible within the business, building relationships and providing practical advice, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As HR Advisor, you'll be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing advice and guidance across employee relations, performance management, absence, HR policies, onboarding and development. You'll also take ownership of key HR processes including onsite inductions, HR administration, payroll information and employee records, helping ensure our people processes are accurate, compliant and effective.

About You

We're looking for an approachable and confident HR professional who can build trusted relationships while providing practical and commercially aware HR support.

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor, People Advisor or similar generalist HR professional.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Hands-on experience supporting employee relations cases.
• Experience supporting managers with performance and absence management.
• Previous involvement with payroll administration and HR systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
• A CIPD Level 3-5 qualification, or currently working towards one, would be highly advantageous.

Experience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or another operational environment would also be beneficial.
