Job summary

A successful Engineering Business in Huddersfield is looking to hire a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis. In this new role, you will manage employee relations casework and advise managers on HR issues. The position includes the benefits of hybrid working, flexible hours, and generous leave. This brand-new role has been created off the back of impressive growth within a thriving manufacturing and engineering group. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will join an established People team and be responsbile for working with stakeholders across the business to coach and advise on HR related issues including :

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a high volume of employee relations casework advising managers on employment law
  • Handle complex and sensitive cases by providing clear, practical advice and make timely decisions
  • Coaching and guiding managers on HR policies, processes and embedding best practice across the business
  • Supporting apprentice performance reviews and development conversations and interviews
  • Prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced, operational environment
