About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy HR team within Education Services to deliver a professional HR service to both Managers and Heads of Establishment.

The Role Includes

You will provide expert technical advice, guidance and case management whilst ensuring effective interpretation and application of Council policies and procedures.

You will work directly to an HR Officer, whilst providing support and assistance across the team and to the Senior HR Officer on day-to-day operational matters and HR service improvement projects.

What You'll Bring
  • You will be customer focused supporting our Heads of Establishment across the city and have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to manage a range of conflicting priorities. Experience of HR service delivery within a unionised environment is desirable.
  • You should be highly organised and have excellent administration, digital and data analysis skills with experience in using Microsoft Excel. You will also enjoy working as part of a fast-paced and friendly team with a desire to create a positive working environment.
