Job summary

Nationwide Recruitment Service is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor for a part-time, 21-hour per week role in Birmingham. You will deliver professional HR support across the employee lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, onboarding and payroll administration, while ensuring compliance with employment law.

Hybrid working with a supportive People Team environment. CIPD qualification and strong communication skills are essential; prior HR experience in similar roles is required.

HR Advisor Part-Time (Human Resources Advisor)

Part-Time | 21 Hours Per Week | Permanent

£18,000 per annum (£30,000 FTE)

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as an HR Advisor, Human Resources Advisor, HR Officer, People Advisor, HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager
• Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and flexible working cases.
• Experience up to and including dismissal.
• Strong working knowledge of current Employment Law and ACAS guidance.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and HR administration activities.
• CIPD qualification, CIPD membership or equivalent HR experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You'll play a key role in delivering professional HR support across the employee lifecycle, helping managers and employees navigate a range of people matters whilst ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and best practice.

Working closely with senior leadership and the wider People Team, you'll support employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee engagement initiatives and continuous improvement projects that enhance the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

Essential

• Robust HR experience and qualifications demonstrating the required skills, knowledge, and capability for the role.
• CIPD Level 3, Level 5 or Level 7 qualification or similar
• CIPD Associate Membership, Part Qualification or Graduate Membership or equivalent.
