Job summary

The Pilot Group in Central Manchester is seeking an HR Administrator to support the HR team across employee records, onboarding and payroll processes. You will contribute to accurate data management and smooth HR administration.

This role offers hybrid working, a salary of £28,000–£30,000 DOE, and benefits including life assurance and health cover. You will work with a small team to ensure compliance and timely HR responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and payroll processes.
• Knowledge of pre-employment checks and right-to-work procedures.
• Experience with HR databases and maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR systems and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR administration and maintain employee records accurately.
• Prepare HR documentation, letters, contracts, forms and other correspondence.
• Process changes to employee information (starters, leavers, promotions, transfers).
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
• Collate monthly payroll information for submission to external payroll provider.
• Assist with HR reporting, training administration and system improvements.
