Job summary

Crowne Plaza Nottingham is seeking an HR Administrator to manage people data, support recruitment and onboarding, and maintain confidential HR records. You will audit HR systems, handle queries, and coordinate training and attendance for the hotel team.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a customer-focused approach to support the General Manager and department heads in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to data accuracy and audit readiness.
• Ability to support recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate HR records and statutory training logs.

Responsibilities

• Keep HR systems updated with current data and audit them regularly.
• Be the first point of contact for Team Member queries on people matters.
• Develop and improve team reporting to stay aligned with business changes.
• Support recruitment, arranging interviews and candidate communication.
• Deliver onboarding for new starters to ensure a smooth welcome.
• Maintain personnel files with contracts, references and training evidence.
• Coordinate training attendance and post-course briefings with managers.
• Take minutes at management meetings and distribute them.
• Monitor sickness and absence, and coordinate return-to-work processes.
• Provide admin support to the General Manager and senior team.
