Job summary

We are constantly searching for talented individuals to join our team within our 5-star property.

We are seeking a talented individual to be the main point of contact for HR advisory and administration duties. You will be responsible for the hotel's administrative processes such as onboarding, recruitment, learning and development, and office administration tasks, working closely with our Head of HR and office team to ensure smooth operations and best practices for our 5-star hotel.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Completing HR administration daily, including contracts, new starter paperwork, and inductions.
  2. Implementing and assisting managers with the appraisal process.
  3. Leading the hotel induction process for new employees.
  4. Supporting the Head of HR with advertising, screening, recruitment, interviews, and assessment centres.
  5. Managing HR functions such as personal files, reference requests, immigration details, and updating personal information.
  6. Maintaining employee profiles on the payroll system, ensuring pay changes are communicated.
  7. Preparing monthly reports on turnover, absence, and retention via HR dashboards.
  8. Taking notes for investigations, grievances, and interviews.
  9. Managing work experience programmes and liaising with educational partners.
  10. Organising employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven advisory and administrative experience within an HR or office environment.
  • Degree in a relevant Business subject or CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new HR skills.
