Job description

Equans is looking for an HR Administration Manager to join our team in a 24-month FTC basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The position offers a competitive salary, a company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits package.

The HR Administration Manager is responsible for the effective administration of processes such as Hire to Retire, employee vetting, data management, and occupational health. The role involves driving continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices to ensure quality and compliance.

This position leads a team of 21 and supports key stakeholders within the UK Business Unit to deliver strategic and operational people initiatives that enhance business performance. The role reports to the Head of Employee Services and is a key leadership position within the team. It also involves deputising for the Head of Employee Services when necessary.

What will you deliver?
  1. Support the delivery of the UK Business Unit strategy, vision, and payroll projects.
  2. Ensure excellent employee experience through HR administration services aligned with SLA’s & KPI’s, legislation, and policies.
  3. Maintain process controls and segregation of duties to support cybersecurity, ethics, and GDPR compliance.
  4. Address process failures, identify root causes, and implement action plans.
  5. Identify process improvement opportunities in collaboration with HR & IT teams.
  6. Keep process documentation up-to-date and understood by team members.
  7. Handle escalations effectively.
  8. Provide guidance on HR processes, legislation, and compliance.
  9. Work with the Senior Payroll Manager to simplify and improve processes.
  10. Coordinate annual salary review system updates.
  11. Support contract mobilisations and demobilisations for smooth transitions.
  12. Create a culture of high employee engagement through leadership and continuous improvement.
  13. Support contractual changes, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract amendments.
