Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer specialising in HPLC/LC/UHPLC to join a growing analytical instrumentation team in the South of England. You will service, install and maintain chromatography systems across pharma and laboratory environments, with UK and occasional European travel.

The role offers field-based autonomy, hands-on fault finding, and progression opportunities within a dynamic technical service group. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on HPLC/LC/UHPLC service and fault-finding experience.
Field Service Engineer background in analytical instrumentation preferred.
Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

Service, fault-find and repair HPLC, LC and UHPLC systems.
Install, calibrate and commission analytical laboratory instrumentation.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Support chromatography equipment including GC, LC-MS and GC-MS.
Provide technical support and training to customers.
Travel within a regional field-service territory with overnight stays.
