Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on HPLC Field Service Engineer (LC, GC & Spectroscopy) to service, maintain and fault-find analytical instruments across the Midlands and North of England.

This field-based role offers £50,000-£60,000 plus company benefits, 33 days holiday, specialist training, progression opportunities and a pension, with occasional European travel. Overnight stays will form part of the role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HPLC/LC/UHPLC service, maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Field Service Engineer background in analytical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair HPLC, LC and UHPLC systems.
• Install, commission and calibrate analytical laboratory instrumentation.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Support chromatography equipment including GC, LC-MS and GC-MS.
• Work with spectroscopy equipment and laboratory gas generators.
• Provide technical support and equipment training to customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Travel across the Midlands / North and wider UK as required.
