Job summary
Roundhouse recruitment is seeking an experienced HPLC Field Service Engineer to service LC/UHPLC systems across the Midlands and North of England. You will travel to customer sites, install, calibrate and fault-find analytical instrumentation while maintaining a strong customer focus and delivering high-quality service.
The role offers UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays, opportunities for training and progression, and a competitive salary with benefits.
Qualifications
- H Hands-on HPLC/LC/UHPLC service experience.
- Field service or analytical instrumentation background.
- Experience with Waters, Agilent, Shimadzu, Thermo Fisher, PerkinElmer or similar.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willing to travel UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, fault-find and repair HPLC, LC and UHPLC systems.
- Install, commission and calibrate analytical laboratory instrumentation.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Support chromatography equipment including GC, LC-MS and GC-MS.
- Work with spectroscopy equipment and gas generators.
- Provide technical support and customer training.
- Complete service reports and documentation.
- Regular UK travel, overnight stays and occasional European travel.
