Job summary
Atos SE is seeking an HPC System & Storage Engineer to deploy, administer, and optimize large-scale HPC environments. You will work with compute, storage, networking, and automation to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability, collaborating with international teams and customers to deliver cutting-edge HPC solutions.
The role requires Linux administration, familiarity with Lustre/NFS/GPFS, and experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance.
- Experience in large-scale HPC/datacenter environments with Linux.
- Willing to travel internationally to support deployments.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain large-scale HPC infrastructures.
- Administer Linux-based systems (Red Hat / Debian).
- Manage enterprise storage and distributed file systems.
- Support Kubernetes-based platforms and container workloads.
- Automate tasks with Ansible and related tools.
- Monitor health, performance, and capacity with observability tools.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, storage, and networking issues.
- Support datacenter operations, upgrades, migrations, and refreshes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and customers throughout projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation and best practices.
