Job summary

The Manna Day Centre in London is seeking a Housing & Welfare Advice Worker to support homeless and vulnerably housed individuals. The role is based at the centre, with hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm, and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

You'll provide housing and welfare advice, handle a busy caseload with empathy, and work as part of a dedicated team under the Director to ensure smooth operation and client-centred support.

Qualifications

• Experience providing housing and welfare advice with clear, supportive communication.
• Ability to handle a busy and varied caseload, including complex casework.
• Comfort working with people facing homelessness or housing difficulties.
• Kind, non-judgmental, and person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing and welfare advice to service users at The Manna Day Centre.
• Support clients with housing difficulties and guide them through available options.
• Contribute to team-based operations under the Director to ensure smooth service delivery.
