Job summary

ClwydAlyn is recruiting a Housing Officer to cover Denbighshire & Conwy on a fixed-term contract (17 months). You will manage a diverse caseload, support tenancy sustainment, and resolve housing issues while promoting safe, thriving communities.

The role involves estate inspections, multi-agency collaboration and helping residents access welfare benefits and other support. 37 hours per week, salary £37,541.20 p.a.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontline housing management.
• Knowledge of tenancy management and welfare benefits.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Willingness to travel across Denbighshire and Conwy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of homes and build positive relationships with residents.
• Support tenancy sustainment and successful outcomes.
• Manage rent accounts and minimise arrears via early intervention.
• Advise on housing matters including welfare benefits and neighbourhood issues.
• Conduct property and estate inspections to maintain standards.
