Location: Coventry & Warwickshire (Nuneaton / Rugby)
Pay: 12.21 - 13.21
Contract: Temporary
Brook Street Social Care will, at all times during your employment, use reasonable endeavours to allocate you to suitable assignments. Your hours of work may vary from one assignment to another, and you will be advised of the expected hours for each assignment. There may also be occasions when no work is available.
For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid an hourly rate between 12.21-13.21 (depending on your assignment), and benefit from a dedicated team of consultants committed to meeting your needs as an employee. Our employee package includes; enhanced annual leave based on hours worked, enhanced sickness pay based on your length of service, access to our National Wellbeing Lead and Wellbeing Champions, team initiatives, eye-care benefits, personal development and free training, optional overtime, refer a friend scheme, support for our EDI strategies, workplace pension, recognition through social media, maternity and paternity entitlements, and much more!
You will work in a hostel setting and, depending on the assignment, also out in the community. Your support will help individuals at risk of homelessness, those with mental health challenges, substance misuse issues, or ex-offenders. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, providing emotional support, assisting with housing benefits applications, or simply being available to listen and support.
This role often requires providing last-minute cover, so you should be able to start quickly. Previous experience working with vulnerable populations in a similar setting is essential.
If your current role involves Criminal Justice, Police, Prison & Probation, or Children & Young People’s services—especially supporting ex-offenders, at-risk youth, gang violence, or care leavers—you are encouraged to apply!
