Job summary

Creative Support in Fleetwood, Lancashire, is seeking compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join a friendly team across our 21 self-contained flats. You will provide person-centred support to residents with complex needs, including mental health challenges and housing-related support, in a recovery-focused environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver coordinated care, helping residents sustain tenancies and develop independent living skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support residents to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Help residents sustain tenancies and reduce homelessness risk.
• Encourage independent living skills, including budgeting and home safety.
• Engage with landlords and accommodation providers.
• Signpost to other services to meet needs.
• Support substance-misuse related issues where appropriate.
• Assist access to education, employment, training, healthcare, and community opportunities.
• Assist with pre-tenancy training, work readiness, Job Club, CV writing, interview prep.

Are you a compassionate, motivated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? We are looking to welcome caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to our friendly team in Fleetwood, Lancashire.

Our supported housing service consists of 21 self-contained apartments across three sites, providing a safe, welcoming environments for people with complex needs and housing-related support needs. Our main site at Warrenhurst Court also includes a dedicated crisis unit, offering short-term accommodation and support for individuals in urgent need.

As a Support Worker, you will provide individualised, person-centred support to people with a range of complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, offending histories, and experiences of homelessness.

Working in a recovery-focused way, you will support residents to achieve positive outcomes by following personalized support plans and risk management plans, empowering them to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to live independently.

You will work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support, helping people to overcome barriers, sustain tenancies, live fulfilling lives.
