What we’re looking for

Are you passionate about preventing homelessness and making a real difference in people's lives? We're looking for a resilient and customer-focused Housing Solutions Officer to manage a varied caseload, supporting people with a wide range of housing needs. You’ll have a strong understanding of homelessness legislation and housing law, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to make fair, informed statutory decisions. You’ll be confident managing competing priorities, maintaining accurate case records, producing reports, and using IT systems such as Microsoft Excel. Experience of working with vulnerable people, assessing risk, and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion is essential.

A relevant housing qualification or equivalent experience is desirable. You’ll also need to be flexible, with the ability to travel when required and participate in the out-of-hours homelessness rota.
