Qualifications

• Experience supervising junior colleagues.

• Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Housing Management Solicitor

A leading national law firm is looking for a Solicitor to join its growing Housing Management team. The team acts for Registered Providers and Local Authorities on a broad range of housing management matters, including:

• Housing litigation and advisory work


• Possession proceedings, including ASB, subletting, succession and trespass


• Tenancy management and related advice


• Equality Act and public law matters


• Injunction proceedings


• Drafting and reviewing policies, procedures and tenancy agreements

About You

You will ideally have previous experience within a Housing Management team, preferably acting for Registered Providers or Local Authorities. You will also have:

• A genuine interest in the social housing sector


• Experience supervising junior colleagues


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• A collaborative, proactive and positive approach


• Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
