Job summary

Guinness Property is recruiting for a full-time trades operative to join the national repairs teams in the Oldham area. The role covers responsive housing repairs and a range of multi-trade tasks across trades, including damp and mould treatment.

You will work 40 hours per week, 8am–7pm on weekdays with Saturday mornings on rota, plus an out-of-hours rota paid extra. Applicants must live in the Oldham area, hold a full UK driving licence and have NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) or equivalent in the

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) trade qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally in social housing.
• Consistent track record of delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive housing repairs
• Carrying out general multi-skilled work across trades
• Carrying out multi-trade tasks including basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould washing and flooring installation
• Applying damp and mould removal and treatment products in line with health and safety guidelines
• Taking part in the out-of-hours callout rota
• Working later shifts and Saturday mornings on a rota
