Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a motivated Strategic Housing Delivery Officer to drive housing regeneration and development across the city. You will coordinate projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while engaging stakeholders and elected members.

Based at Loxley House, this hybrid role offers a starting salary of £37,563 rising to £40,444 per year, with a 37 hour week.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in affordable housing, regeneration, surveying, housing development, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of housing, regeneration and development policies and practices.
• Experience with project management techniques.
• Experience delivering development projects to deadlines, costs, and outcomes.
• Experience working with stakeholders to deliver planning and development projects.
• Ability to provide concise, written technical advice and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Strategic Housing Delivery Officer to help deliver Nottingham City Council’s housing regeneration and development ambitions.
• You will coordinate and deliver regeneration and development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• You will work with colleagues, elected members, developers, community representatives and other stakeholders to bring projects forward from concept through to implementation.
• You will monitor project performance, support funding applications and financial management, contribute to development viability assessments, and prepare reports for senior leaders and councillors.
