Job summary

New Forest District Council in Lyndhurst is seeking a Housing Project Manager to lead a range of housing schemes, from design and procurement to construction and completion. You will work with contractors, consultants and residents to deliver high quality outcomes.

The role requires ensuring safety, staying within budget, and supporting modernisation of council homes as well as new-build opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid pattern (2 days remote).

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of housing projects from initial design and procurement through to construction and completion.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, residents and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and to a high standard.
• Balance modernising existing council homes with delivery of new housing opportunities to make a lasting difference for communities.
