We are looking for exceptional candidates to join the Local Authority Housing Options service as full time Housing Options Advisors on a permanent basis.
This role is responsible for delivering casework and providing customer support to households seeking assistance under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 to secure suitable accommodation
You will be part of a busy, multidisciplinary Housing Options and Homelessness service, supporting households under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 to prevent and relieve homelessness.
A key aspect of the role involves working closely with accommodation providers - including private landlords, social housing partners, and supported accommodation services - to build strong relationships and expand access to affordable housing options.
While previous experience in delivering housing advice or supporting people facing homelessness is desirable, full training will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time‑management and casework abilities, ensuring high‑quality customer care at all times.
