About the Role

Based at our head office in Ashington, covering Berwick, South East Northumberland, North Tyneside, and Newcastle, with flexibility to cover other areas such as Durham.

This role involves preparing properties for new residents, ensuring they are safe, welcoming, and ready for occupancy. Key responsibilities include (not exhaustive):

  • Inspecting vacant properties and coordinating works to ensure they are 'Ready to Let' (RTL).
  • Collaborating with contractors, social services, energy suppliers, and internal teams to bring homes into use efficiently.
  • Maintaining detailed records, tracking progress in systems like QL, and following up on updates.
  • Managing energy transfers and resolving supply issues with suppliers like British Gas.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation such as EPCs, gas safety certificates, EICRs, and cleaning records are in place.
About You

We seek someone with energy, passion, and commitment. You should have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to contribute meaningfully.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in housing, property, or building management.
  • Ability to coordinate between multiple teams and external stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, especially regarding repairs, maintenance, and health and safety.
