Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer on a temporary basis to work in the Staffordshire area. Please note this role involves a mix of working from home, working in the office, and completing on-site visits with customers.
Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of rented properties and tenancy agreements. You will handle new sign-ups, conduct property inspections, address anti-social behaviour issues and disputes (escalating as appropriate), and provide advice on housing, benefits, and rent arrears.
Candidates must have proven experience in a similar Housing Officer role, with solid knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy agreements. Excellent communication skills are essential for building rapport with customers quickly. Experience with Housing Management Systems is also required.
You will receive a temporary contract with a competitive rate of pay.
