Housing Officer (Midlands Rural Housing)

(12 months Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave)

Hours: 35 Hours (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch each day)

Salary: £30,294 - £33,660 per annum

Based: Home based - office located in Coalville, Leicestershire (Patch area - Stratford District and Warwickshire)

The role

Responsible for delivering an efficient, effective, and customer-focused Housing Management service to Rural Housing Associations (RHAs) and Midlands Rural Housing (MRH), covering Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire. The primary focus will be on providing housing management services to residents in Stratford District, Warwickshire, with occasional coverage in other areas. The role involves delivering a tenant and leaseholder service emphasizing regular contact, prompt issue resolution, and positive community impact.

The ideal candidate

• A proven track record in delivering customer-centered and effective services.
• Comprehensive operational knowledge of housing law, management of housing and leasehold, income management, and ASB practices.
• Experience in partnership working and achieving positive outcomes.
• Ability to meet targets and deliver high performance.
• Strong numeracy skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
