We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Housing Officer in our Housing Services Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that's making a real difference in people's lives.

About The Role

You must be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate that you have the ability, attitude and interpersonal skills to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues and support the work of 54 North Homes in our communities.

The Housing Officer role involves visiting tenants, customer contact visits, low level Anti-social behaviour, Estate Inspections & Allocations.

It goes without saying that you will have good organisation, time management and ICT skills. But most importantly you will be great with people.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective, customer-focused services
  • Deliver tenancy and estate management services for housing across the 54North Homes geography
  • Work as part of a team to achieve targets, KPIs and objectives.
  • Provide a holistic housing management service, building and maintaining relationships with customers and sustaining tenancies.
About You

You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload often working to targets and tight deadlines.

You will be part of a team but the role does require the ability to work on your own initiative and carry out lone working in the community and in tenant's homes.

Previous knowledge and experience within a social housing environment, housing legislation and knowledge of welfare reform changes would be an advantage.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

Key Details
  • Housing Officer - permanent role
  • Salary is £35,995 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,317 per annum (pro rata)
  • Location: Leeds
  • Regular travel will be required
  • Both full and part time roles available
  • 2 hours (3 days) or
  • 37 hours per week with agile working
