Our client is a small Supported Housing charity for Veterans. The charity has embarked on a Change Programme across its operations, making it an exciting time to join and add value as a Housing Manager.
Job purpose
Responsible to the Head of Housing for leading and managing the Housing Team in tenancy management services.
Ensure the delivery of a customer-focused housing service to ex-Service personnel and their dependents, promoting tenant engagement and participation in decision-making.
Implement and monitor Health and Safety policies throughout housing operations to ensure a safe environment and compliance with regulations.
Provide regular reports on performance outcomes and key indicators.
Manage day-to-day property and tenancy services expenditure within budget.
Collaborate across teams to support the charitable objectives through effective housing management.
Key Accountabilities
Person Specification
Extensive housing management experience, preferably with a local authority or housing association, in general needs or supported housing, focusing on property and asset management.
Experience managing staff.
Proven ability to monitor and report on key performance indicators related to housing management.
Knowledge of issues facing the ex-Service community, especially Veterans with support needs.
