Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Solicitor to join its Housing Management team within the Dispute Resolution group in Cardiff on hybrid working. You will handle contentious housing matters for landlords and local authorities, across Wales and England, with a mix of advisory, litigation and advocacy work.

Candidate requirements include qualified solicitor or barrister (NQ+), litigation or advocacy experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and an interest in specialist dispute

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with litigation/advocacy experience.
• Experience handling housing management disputes is desirable.
• Strong communication and client care skills required.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of housing management disputes.
• Draft court documents, pleadings and applications.
• Attend and conduct hearings.
• Negotiate with third parties and legal representatives.
• Provide commercially focused advice to clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
