Job summary

Unknown firm in Manchester is seeking a housing litigation solicitor with up to 5 years’ PQE to join its Housing team.

You will run your own caseload, support senior colleagues on higher‑value matters, attend hearings, draft pleadings and witness statements, and provide clear commercial advice to clients.

Qualifications

The team

The work

• Anti-social behaviour
• Possession and housing management litigation
• Injunctions and committals
• Housing disrepair and property condition claims
• Hoarding and access cases

Requirements

• Run your own caseload, with the right level of supervision
• Support senior colleagues on higher-value matters
• Attend hearings and take on advocacy where appropriate
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and applications
• Give clear, commercial advice and build strong client relationships

You’ll have

• Qualified solicitor, up to 5 years’ PQE
• Housing litigation or social housing experience (or a real appetite for it)
• Contentious exposure, ideally
• Some advocacy experience, or a willingness to build it
• Good organisation and sound judgement on competing priorities
• Clear communication and a team-first attitude
