Job summary

Service Care is seeking an experienced Housing Litigation Paralegal for a contract role in London. You will support landlord and tenant litigation, handle pre-action tasks, drafting, and case management while working within a housing association's legal team.

The role includes initial in-office days with a gradual reduction to 4 days, then 3 days, and a 35-hour week. Pay rates are competitive and reflects housing sector experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting possession claims, injunctions, ASB and housing disrepair matters.
• Law degree or equivalent qualification.
• Pre-action casework or housing litigation experience (desirable).
• Strong case management, drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Support the legal team with landlord and tenant litigation.
• Assist with pre-action casework and legal filings.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Participate in initial in-office days, then reduce to 4 days, then 3 days.
• Contribute to effective delivery of housing sector legal services.
