Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx with demonstrable knowledge of housing law and related legislation and case law.
• Broad knowledge of Local Government law or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, procedural and technical legal guidance, including routine advocacy on tenancy management, temporary accommodation and homelessness, civil litigation, leasehold matters, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Undertake routine legal cases and, where appropriate, more complex cases with the Housing and General Litigation Team.
• Opportunity to undertake court advocacy.
