Job summary

Solace Women's Aid is recruiting two Housing First Project Workers to support women at risk of homelessness. The role involves trauma-informed, client-centred outreach and tenancy support, with one day per week at our Camden Head Office and remaining days split between community outreach and home working.

You will work to empower survivors, coordinate with partner agencies, and promote social inclusion while respecting the organisation’s feminist and survivor-led ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience providing emotional and/or practical support to women who have experienced violence or homelessness.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and the ability to work with women with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day delivery of the Housing First service.
• Manage a small caseload to help women sustain tenancy and independence.
• Advocate on behalf of service users with external agencies for welfare rights and health needs.
