Job Description - Housing Concierge (25656)

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £24,638 per annum [pro rata], plus brilliant benefits, including health cash plan!

About the Role

Join us as a Housing Concierge at The Sycamores, our new extra care service in Woodlesford. This community features a café, hair salon, activity rooms, and gardens, supporting over 55s to live independently with support nearby. You'll be essential in ensuring smooth, safe operations on weekends, providing care and support to residents.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor safety through CCTV and patrols to ensure residents' security.
2. Greet visitors and uphold community rules.
3. Address maintenance issues by coordinating with managers and contractors.
4. Collaborate with the on-site care team to support residents.
5. Document shift activities and incidents accurately.
6. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes community and well-being.

Candidate Profile

• Friendly, calm, and practical with a keen eye for safety.
• Comfortable using technology for logging, CCTV, and updates.
• Independent worker and team player with a positive attitude.
• Experience in housing, support, customer service, or safety is desirable but not essential.

Additional Details

Willing to work weekends, bank holidays, with shifts typically from 8am–4pm or 3pm–11pm. Must pass an Enhanced DBS check (paid by us).

Reporting to Emma Carter, Community and Wellbeing Manager, working closely with housing and care teams within our new service.
