Job summary

Manchester City Council is recruiting a Landlord Compliance Coordinator to support landlord compliance and building safety within Housing Services, with initial focus on the Awaab's Law framework. You will provide high-quality administrative support, manage records and compliance data, coordinate no-access cases, decants, repairs, and ensure actions meet statutory timescales.

This 35-hour-per-week, temporary (12 months) role offers an inclusive environment and opportunities to help residents

Qualifications

• Experience of providing administrative support within a busy service environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Experience of maintaining accurate records and databases with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce professional correspondence.
• Experience of managing shared inboxes and responding to enquiries in a timely and customer-focused manner.

Responsibilities

• You will act as a first point of contact for Awaab's Law enquiries and support requests, maintaining accurate records and compliance data, managing a busy shared inbox and ensuring key actions are completed within statutory timescales.
• You will coordinate activities such as no-access cases and temporary decants, issue compliance correspondence to residents, raise repair orders and appointments and work closely with colleagues, contractors and partner services to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• This is a key support role that contributes directly to resident safety, regulatory compliance, service improvement and the delivery of high-quality housing services across Manchester.
