Job summary

Selwood Housing is seeking a Compliance Project Surveyor at Level 3 to lead and oversee our compliance programmes, ensuring safety and regulatory standards across a portfolio of 7,000+ homes. You will collaborate with contractors and colleagues to identify risks, drive improvements and maintain high standards of fire safety, gas, electrical and water safety across the stock.

You will manage contracts, budgets and performance, travel across the operating area, and contribute to policy development

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or extensive relevant experience in Construction, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Significant experience of compliance management within a social housing environment, including managing contracts and projects.
• Proven experience of budget management, contractor performance management, procurement and delivering projects from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee compliance programmes across housing stock.
• Identify risks and drive solutions to improve compliance performance.
• Manage contractors, budgets and performance to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.
• Communicate technical information and reports to stakeholders clearly and confidently.
