Housing Assistant

Your new company

Hays is currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Assistant on a temporary ongoing basis for a reputable Housing Association based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a hybrid role involving some work in the office as well as remote working.

Your new role

You will work within the Housing Team focusing on benefits and rent management. Responsibilities include collecting rents, providing benefit advice and support, helping customers budget, monitoring accounts in arrears, and flagging issues to the appropriate officers.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have proven experience in a similar role and a good understanding of housing benefits and procedures. A passion for helping others and excellent communication skills to build rapport quickly are essential.
