Dovetail & Slate Ltd in London is seeking an experienced housing trainer to educate and assess apprentices working toward housing qualifications. You will manage a caseload, deliver workplace-based training, and coordinate with employers to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

You will plan sessions, conduct visits, gather portfolio evidence, and track progress to achievement, working closely with learners and employers in a supportive FE environment.

Formación

• Relevant occupational experience in housing
• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related discipline
• Confident communication with learners, colleagues and employers

Responsabilidades

• Planning and delivering training sessions aligned to housing apprenticeship standards.
• Managing a caseload of apprentices, including one-to-one coaching and progress reviews.
• Carrying out workplace visits to assess apprentice competence in their work setting.
• Gathering and marking portfolio evidence in line with awarding body requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with employers.

Are you an experienced housing professional looking to pass your knowledge on to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider to train and assess apprentices working towards their housing qualifications, combining your industry background with practical, workplace-based support.

You'll manage a caseload of apprentices, delivering training sessions, carrying out workplace visits and assessments, and tracking progress through to achievement. You'll also work closely with employers to make sure each apprentice gets a high-quality learning experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
