Job summary

Gallagher in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our Housing Division to manage mid-corporate to large risk client relationships and ensure service excellence in a regulated environment.

You will lead renewals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with Broking, Claims and Accounts to deliver best outcomes while maintaining compliance and providing proactive client service across a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/corporate insurance account management.
• Ability to handle mid-corporate and large complex risks.
• Proven client-focused approach with relationship management skills.
• Familiar with Lloyd's/London Market and regulatory context.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end renewal process, including preparing submissions and gathering accurate risk information.
• Negotiate renewal terms, explore alternative markets and support client presentations.
• Prepare and issue renewal and mid-term documentation with internal teams.
• Produce risk presentations, review quotations and compare cover to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
• Ensure all client data is accurate, compliant and recorded on internal systems.
• Support the delivery of PRISM requirements and maintain audit trails.
• Liaise with insurers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and secure favourable terms.
• Manage policy lifecycle from placement through to documentation and post-placement follow-up.
• Handle client queries professionally and escalate where needed.
