Job summary

Welcome Break is hiring a Hotel Housekeeper in Gretna Green. The role offers flexible part‑time hours with an 10am–2pm pattern across four days per week, plus overtime if desired. Earn up to £12.85 per hour, and enjoy £1 meals on every shift as part of the benefits.

You’ll be responsible for cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms, restocking supplies and keeping public areas spotless to ensure every guest has a comfortable stay. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is beneficial.
• Attention to detail and a pride in delivering high standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refresh guest bedrooms, change linen, dust, vacuum and wipe surfaces.
• Clean bathrooms, stock toiletries and ensure rooms are guest-ready for the next visitor.
• Support with public areas cleaning, report maintenance issues and follow health & safety routines.

As a Hotel Housekeeper at our Welcome Break [Days Inn/Ramada] hotel, you’ll help keep our [XX- bedroom ] hotel clean, fresh and guest‑ready every day.

From making beds and refreshing rooms to cleaning bathrooms, topping up supplies and keeping public areas looking their best, you’ll play a big part in creating a great stay for every guest.

• Take pride in keeping rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces clean, comfortable and welcoming

• Have a great eye for detail, from crisp bedding and clean surfaces to stocked towels and toiletries

What You’ll Do As a Hotel Housekeeper

• Clean and refresh guest bedrooms, including making beds, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming and wiping surfaces
• Clean bathrooms, replace towels, top up toiletries and make sure each room is ready for the next guest
• Support with public area cleaning, report maintenance issues, follow health & safety routines and work with the team to keep standards high
