Job summary

Park Holidays UK is recruiting a dedicated housekeeping team member in Dymchurch to keep holiday homes and communal areas spotless and well organised, with laundry duties included.

Join a friendly team delivering great guest experiences, performing cleaning, laundry tasks, and stock checks, and supporting health and safety standards. Available to work on Mondays and Fridays with a view to developing your skills in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks in working hours.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in cleaning and laundry.
• Willingness to work on the specified days (Monday and Friday).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard.
• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, and ironing linen and towels.
• Use cleaning products safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages to management.
• Collaborate with staff to prioritise tasks and complete duties on time.
• Provide excellent guest service and address housekeeping requests professionally.

Overview

Join our dedicated housekeeping team at Park Holidays UK, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help create unforgettable guest experiences every day. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of holiday homes and communal areas, as well as assisting with laundry duties.

Job Duties

• Clean and maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-organised.
• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, and ironing of linen and towels to ensure they are clean and ready for guest use.
• Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
• Keep track of cleaning and laundry supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and cleaning staff to prioritise tasks and ensure that all duties are completed efficiently and on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
