Job summary
We are looking for Housekeeping Team Managers to join #TeamUHD.
Our team of Housekeeping Managers work collaboratively to support the Housekeeping Service across the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site. This is an exciting time at RBH, with our maternity services now in the new BEACH building and further developments as we become the major emergency hospital for East Dorset.
Our Housekeeping team ensures the hospital remains clean, providing a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Each Housekeeping Team Manager is responsible for a specific area (quality, recruitment and training, equipment and consumables, rostering, and waste management) and acts as 'duty manager' to allocate team members effectively to ensure a safe and efficient service.
Full training for the role is provided, including specialized training for each area. Leadership and management courses are also available for development.
We are a large team, and experience in managing or supervising a sizable team would be advantageous.
