Job summary

The East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Team Leader at Broadstairs College. You will supervise daily cleaning tasks, motivate staff, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards to create a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Based in the Estates Department, you will work a 30-hour week (Mon-Fri, 05:30–09:30 and 16:00–18:00) on a permanent contract, with benefits including holiday, personal leave, discounts, wellbeing support, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and cleaning in a commercial environment.
• Level 2 English & Maths or willingness to work towards.
• Health & safety certificate would be beneficial but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning activities and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Motivate and support the housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Based at Broadstairs College within the Estates Department.
