Housekeeping Team Leader

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Maintaining a clean and safe environment in our hospitals is a top priority. We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader to supervise and support our cleaning team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service for our patients, staff, and visitors. You will bring strong communication and leadership skills, manage rotas, oversee stock control, and prioritize workloads. Your IT and customer service skills, along with an eye for detail, will enable you to contribute hands-on to daily housekeeping duties, fostering a welcoming and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective use of cleaning products and equipment, adhering to health and safety procedures while meeting service deadlines.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure the team has necessary resources.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, maintaining rotas, stock control, conducting audits, and updating training records.
• Act as the main point of contact for reporting and resolving issues, liaising with management and handling complaints.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including audits.
• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, including scheduling, inductions, training, and tracking leave and absences.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently, to high standards, and in line with infection prevention policies and procedures.
