Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee the housekeeping team at EKC Dover College, driving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across student spaces. The role involves leading morning shifts (05:30–08:30) with a 15-hour workweek and a permanent contract.

Salary is £12,004 per annum. The college promotes employee wellbeing with benefits and a supportive Estates Department culture.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will preferably have previous experience of team leadership and cleaning in a commercial environment as well as the ability to learn quickly and maintain high standards of work.
• You will also have a Level 2 qualification in English & Maths or be willing to work towards these (the College will support with such qualifications).
• A health & safety certificate would be of benefit but not essential as training is provided.

About The Role

Lead our Housekeeping Team and Ensure Quality in the Spaces where Students to Succeed

EKC Group are seeking a Housekeeping Team leader to join the Group.We are seeking someone to join our high performing housekeeping team within the busy Estates Department EKC Dover College

The post holder will have a positive attitude, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of housekeepers while maintaining high levels of cleanliness & hygiene. You will also be able to perform the array of cleaning tasks including the use of machinery widely used in the industry.

Key Details:

Salary: £12,004 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 15

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 05:30 to 08:30
