The role:

AIRE is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our site in London, awarded as London’s Spa of the Year 2023 and 2024. You will join our team and be responsible for overseeing and taking care of the staff members to ensure the correct execution of the standards set by the company. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager support them in the daily operation.

About The Role:

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will transition into a leadership position, entrusted with upholding and enhancing the impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization that define AIRE. This role presents a unique chance to lead by example, embodying AIRE's values while nurturing the well-being of both our valued clients and fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume leadership of the Housekeeping team during various shifts, ensuring excellence in cleanliness throughout our facilities.
  • Take charge of the laundry and cleaning departments, maintaining efficiency and order.
  • Coordinate housekeeping tasks and oversee supplies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives to uphold our distinguished service standards among team members.
  • Foster open communication with the Housekeeping Manager, actively supporting daily operations and staff management.
  • Contribute to the welcoming ambiance of AIRE by ensuring guest areas remain inviting and pristine.

Who you are:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar hospitality role.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeper.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You have effective conflict management abilities, and you are assertive and cooperative.

Shift patterns:

  • Shifts are organised on a rotating schedule and are planned at least two weeks ahead.
  • Operating hours start at 7:00 AM and end at 11:30 PM. Shifts are a maximum of 8.5 hours (including break). Operating days are Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.
