Job summary

THE HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT TRUST in Romsey is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead cleaning of bedrooms, corridors and public areas to the highest standard. You will supervise daily cleaning tasks and ensure supplies are used efficiently.

Responsibilities include daily vacuuming, waste handling, weekly polishing, liaising with the Home Manager, and supporting laundry duties. The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• DBS and health checks are required.
• Experience in care/home environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow Home policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and weekly cleaning tasks across bedrooms, corridors and public areas.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Manage stock, and assist with laundry duties when requested.
• Attend staff and resident safety meetings and support emergency procedures.
